Concrete

It is an artificial stone material obtained as a result of solidification of a rationally selected and homogeneously mixed and compacted mixture of binder (cement), water, aggregates, as well as modifying impurities. Today, there are hundreds of recipes that produce concrete with a wide variety of properties.

Mortar

Mortar is a material obtained as a result of solidification of a mixture of binder (cement), fine aggregate (sand), solvent (water) and, if needed, special additives. Cement, clay, gypsum, lime or their mixtures are used as a binder, and sand is used as an aggregate. Construction mortars are classified depending on a number of factors: binding material used , properties of the binding substance, the ratio between the amount of binding material and aggregate, density and purpose.
