In April 1955, the food base of Cherkasy Regional Construction Trust was founded, and in 1956 it was transformed into Zavod Buddetal.
Zavod Buddetal plant was renamed into the Plant of Reinforced Concrete Products and Structures under Cherkasy Construction Trust No.4, and in 1963 it came under the control of Cherkasyzhitlobud Trust. The plant produced reinforced concrete products and structures for construction facilities in the city and region.
On the basis of the Cherkasy Plant of Reinforced Concrete Products, the Production Association "Cherkasyzalizobeton" was founded. The total number of employees was about 700 people. The plant produced reinforced concrete products for residential and socio-cultural brick buildings.
The plant underwent a complete modernization, an experimental automatic line for the production of hollow plates with a 2.4 m width and 6 - 6.3 m length, weighing 5 tons, was launched. At that time, there were only three such lines in the USSR.
Zavod Buddetal was founded on the basis of Cherkasizalizobeton collective enterprise. The plant received its original name.
A large-scale phased reconstruction of the plant aimed at increasing productivity and improving product quality has begun.
